here's my concept

The Story:
THere's a Gate between the real world and the cartoon world, everything inside it becomes cartoon and some warriors are going to begin a new trip.... a trip to the cartoon world

Aaaaaaaaaaah, now I see where your going with this! Nice idea! Your gonna have to make the "real" characters look pretty real though to get the contrast! Good luck, I'll be watching!

cool idea sort of reminiscent of stargate... toongate maybe?

nice to someone else doing a cartoony style.. i'd make the image coming form the toon gate look almost as though it was distorted by rippling water.. nice to see how the two styles mesh.

regards

Dimitri

I was thinking maybe even a combination of cell shading and photo realism?

"Crin" :
oh, the realistic characters "my nightmare:twisted: ", they r gonna kill me, but i'll try to do my best:bounce:
Cell shading is a good idea, but i'm afraid of the balance of the picture "cell shading +photorealism", don't know till i give it a shot :arteest:

"Dimitri" :
thanx my friend, i'll try to do my best in "Toongate :thumbsup:"

Your quick, already at the modelling stage. Cell shading and photorealism might looking funny. I always consider sticking to one style theme would be the way to go, its cleaner and uncomplicated to read a visual. Then again I might be wrong considering ground breaking stuff is usually made up of the most unimaginable ideas. Enjoy and let your imagination run wild.
