Hey.. cool sketch. Are those two characters trying to catch the boat? It feels like their moving towards the left side rather towards the boat, if that's the case. Maybe you could flip them? I know is still a draft sketch but something to have in mind during the development. ;) Good luck!! :)

write "Titanic" more clearly so everyone will get the hint :D

Also make it 3 point perspective etc. so it will really give indication of scale and vastness to your pic and make it more dramatic. Crop the left side off altogether if necessary.

Good sketching! Maybe try another angle closer to the feet of one of the adults
to emphasise size differences? It's early, I'm just trying to spark new ideas for ya.
Thanks for the feedback on my concept sketch. Good success on this!

I think every technical point were said...

so, just a word to say I really like the concept, even if all action is on the very left side of picture...

Waiting first color drafts impatiently, they will completly change perception of the idea !!!

Good luck !

I like the way you have exaggerated the adult character next to the children to make them seem ever smaller. It really helps add to the immensity of the Titanic next to them. Best of luck to you in the challenge!

Hey there great update! I like what you did with the scene, moving the Titanic more toward the center helps balance it more. It is just my opinion but it feels like you have lost some of the effect you had showing the immensity of the ship though. Just my two cents. :) Keep up the good work!

Hmm...feels different this one...strange to feel that i already know the fate of titanic....and how the journey is going to be gives emotional depth to the theme. Great!

Yeah, this contrast of the titanic tragedy is very good in this work. And the overall composition is looking very good. keep up Pawlack!!

MichaelMotion, Thanks :)
Ranath I changed perspective. Looks deeper now and a bit more balanced I think.
adam harnett The problem is that when perspective is from 'worm eye' of kids, everything is hidden behind adults. I was still searching for solution, and this is what i have.
Youpi Thanks :) I'm waiting first color drafts impatiently too :D
mmbenya Thanks. I hope this effect is not lost at all now :| On the other hand I can't have everything ;)
DeeVad Thanks ;)
PSych Thanks
maranello55 Thanks man ;)

Welcome mate and thanks for checking out me thread.
Nice sketches. I particularly like post #4. Theres something interesting about the camera being at the kids level. Your last sketch is a bit too typical of a composition.

goodluck and i'll check back again.
cheers

nice, I think the place was a lot more crowded when Titanic set off, see the 97 version of Titanic and get some inspiration from there?
