My first concept sketch, half is my wife's idea! I like the idea! A mother and her child, journey into life!
Together they will tackle life's journey's!

Well, I'm gonna go with this concept, even though I think there will be a lot more hours in it than what I first thought! Where there is a will, there is a way!

I've been playing with the colours for a few hours, changed the mother and child, starting to add other bits n pieces, and I am pretty happy with my progress!

I am going to go ahead with the line art, BUTT, before I do.......

....does anybody have any suggestions?

nice (somewhat dark,,) idea. wish her and child's luck to survive.

a bit dark background and depth will help to tell the stroy,
and i want to see mother's expression, to be strong? to be desperated? want just survive this moment...etc...

and try different composition two or three will be help to finalizing your story

Perhaps you might want to establish a light source? The image looks a bit flat as of now.

You cannot really see them that well but, they're there,.....other people woooooooooo!
Yep, from now there will be a lot more emotion and other words that mean similar to that, in this particular piece of lines and colour, picture!
