This is the first sketch and it's a rough one but it's getting the ideas going. My idea is to have a cowboy or Sherif Starting his journy to capture the perp. The cowboy would be out for revenge and if he was a sherif to do justice.
Even just after posting this I'm thinking of making him a little boy riding a toy horse pretending to be a sherif in his sandbox, with the town as little toys.
Any thoughts?

Hehe, those buildings should be fun to model. I think it would be better if the angle was down a bit more, and looking more straight onto the cowboy with the city in the background. Cool concept though. Keep it up!

Thanks for the reply.
I'm realy looking forward to working on the buildings, I think I'm most excited about them. As far as the angle goes I think you might be right. I will do a few more sketches to tighten things up a bit.
Cheers

Cleaning up my idea a little. This is of a boy and his stuffed toy horse, pretending to be a sherif about to embark on a journy to capture the bad guy. He is in own back yard playing in his sandbox with his old west toy set, but to him, it is real.

This could be a lot of fun. I am curious to see how it comes along. Will it be a cardboard box town or a real town around his sandbox?
cheers, good luck.

This is the first building for my wild west setting. I will build three more to complete the town. Any thoughts on this one before I texture it?
Just a question about how I have set up the scene. Am I missing the point of the presentation by showing what he is leaving and not where he is going. I just thought I could show the emotion on the characters face more this way. Any thoughts?

They will be toy buildings but sort of crossed over to a bit more real looking as his imagination is strong. :)
