Here is a consept sketch that i did at work on my free time. A child and his robot carrying all of the stuff they might ever need...

Thank you... I Hope i can stay with it and finnish this project. I will try not to dissapoint.

I have decided to make the bag more of a cargo net so the contents can be seen. and random things will be sticking out. I dont think i like the head either...

Here is the boy of couse he will be going away from the cammera. I Just found out how hard it is to get a kids face to look cute and not scarry. I hope to do better on the 3d stuff.

I'm a big fan of the movie Iron Giant. If you haven't seen it, perhaps you should check it out, or google it for some inspiration, not that I think you really need it. Your concept sketch is great. I like the slender look of him. He doesn't seem to be a terribly massive and strong character (though that bag looks heavy!), but rather he seems to be more of a pal, big enough to help out without being overwhelming. They seem to be more like partners in the journey together.

Here is the basic robot. I still can't decide on a head for the bot. I am thinking of going with a child on a tresure hunt with his trusty robot companion. Paper pirate hats and all.

It would be nice to see the coraget(sPeling) on the edges of your pirates hat, perhaps just as a bump, to give a little more imperfection.

I thought about making Noah a pirate in my thread...

Here is the new Robot with some textures. That deadline seems to be comming quick. I hope i can make it in time. The other entrys look great!
