Here is my concept sketch for my journey. I am a caterpillar making my way up a large tree in order to become a chrysalis and then emerge, triumphant, as a butterfly...!! That's the idea anyway........!
03-03-2006, 06:27 PM
And completing the journey up the tree is only the first step in a larger journey. It could be a really nice image. I'm imagining being the size of a caterpiller and looking up at this huge tree that I have to climb. It's kind of intimidating. It would be about the equivilant to having to scale the Empire State Building in New York. Too bad trees don't have elevators. ;)

Hiya Claire, I was wondering when you where gonna get in on this! Nice concept! Should be a good one for details as the modelling is all quite simple! Your gonna have to become a texturing godess though!

Hi Guys. Thanks alot for your support and encouragement. Is the concept too simple??? Do I need to develop the idea further.........?? Am just concerned about getting the composition and depth right to create a great impact. Oh well, will just get going on it and see how it progresses. Thanks again. :)

It's looking good. I've always had trouble with getting leaves right. when it gets to having that many seemingly random polygons going everywhere, my brain crashes. Glad you're getting to work on it again.
