Yes nice idea!
Just to mention I think snails have shells and slugs do not.

And the biggest snail around:

Hm. Why would they stop in the middle of the road to check the map? Wouldn´t it be better to do that on the sidewalk ;) ? Reminds me o a Fat Boy Slim clip od the little aliens in the city. Good luck!

...and it means that slugs are faster than snails? I guess i have to fix that.

Thought that dangerous journey is more exciting than safe one;)

odd little entry,,, but waiting to see how it turns out
Snails are great! You should try to look at some underwater snails... they get HUGE. I went scuba diving once and saw a snail bigger than my hand!

Almost final setup. Changed the angle...those little guys needed reason for their journey and now they have good one - big girls & cheap beer. First modelling and/or texturing WIPs coming soon...been badly out of inspiration (=women) and started whole thing in "wrong order" by creating set of textures and normal maps.
I'm looking forward to seeing how this one turns out! Good luck in getting your "inspiration"!

Lots of work left with these, but style will be something like...more or less 50's?

Almost done. Rest details will be added by normal maps...trying to keep poly counts low enough so that whole thing can be done without buying new computer:P

Just wondering if more perspective on the buildings will give it a more meaning.
Like it has been mentioned, why would they stop in the middle of the road? How about starting them of a little more on the side, playing with the perspective as you go a long.
