....any idea when it's coming out? Has anyone heard what's going to be the new features?? Just thought I'd ask around!

I would rather they just get the bugs worked out of 4 before they move on. :)

Usually I don't hear about a new version of combustion until about 2 months before it's released. Is that just me or do they announce things apple style, moments before it's on shelves?

combustion 4 isn't even a year old. C* releases are anywhere from 18 months to 2 years between each other. So it will be a while.

Actually I think they moved to a 12 month product cycle, or atleast that is what my regional rep told me. So if that is true then it would be around NAB, which is the show they like to announce their new systems and combustion stuff, if not then sometime between NAB 2006 and 2007.

Actually I think they moved to a 12 month product cycle, or atleast that is what my regional rep told me.Looks like it is still 18 months+ unless this is a new change between 4 & 5. I doubt it though. The osx version was 7 months late, so I doubt they are on track to deliver v5 next month.
