Hello Everybody!

I just finished my year at the Vancouver Film School. And what a year! I was surrounded by some really talented people. I'm sure you've seen their work posted here of late. It was an honor and a blessing to be a part of such a great group.

Here's my demo reel. It's an animation piece entitled "The One Samurai", and it's my little homage to Akira Kurosawa's "The Seven Samurai". Enjoy! :)

Note that the Quicktime file is actually 37mb, while the Divx and Xvid files are only 9mb. Go Sorenson! Oh, and the music is straight from the movie, since VFS isn't done working on the sound yet.

love the subtle yet suspenseful animation. I wish you the best in your future and have fun hunting down jobs, was hell of fun sharing class with you. Looks great! 5stars.

I'll never forget how much you've concentrated for your stuff especially in term 6
It look liked you were thinking of that the time is just luxury

the render rocks. the animation is very good. the only thing i feel is wrong is the part when
the samurai drew his sword. because he did not use it. but is ok. i think every reel show some part of our personality in it. 5 stars from me.

U finally did make ur own Samurai movie - The One Samurai.
Congratulations!
I know you did your best. ur reel presents it.
I wish all the best and good luck hunting jobs.

I know how much effort you put in your reel.
I love your style and subtle movement in terms of animation.
I even like the opening that feels old school film.
