View Full Version : Network Render "Monitor" Crashing
jcorpe 02-28-2006, 05:54 AM I have recently installed Max 8 SP1 and have noticed that the monitor crashes whenever a job is running and I check the "Tasks" tab. If the job is over, it doesn't crash when I perform the same action. Has anyone else had a problem like this with the Monitor?

I had same problem. But i still have older monitor installed and with that, it's
working normally.
Check that you have same version running manager, server and monitor.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is a known issue at Discreetodesk. Just run the older monitor from max7 if you have it.

yeah, they pretty much know that backburner as a whole is just packed Full of bugs. It really is horrible. Not to mention there are tons of features that they could add with a few flicks of the wrist, but they aren't even getting there because of all the programming problems.
