Looking for experienced medical 3d artist / animator for ongoing freelance work.

Typical jobs will involve accurate detailed modelling/surfacing of various anatomical structures (organs, muscle, bone, vessels) for use in surgical procedure illustrations and animations. You will be working closely with other medical experts. Medical illustration degree (or other science background) is a plus.

Occasionally will need to create animations depicting body systems/function, MOA sequences, and medical products for tradeshows, DVDs and CDroms.

Ideal candidate will be able to occasionally meet with art director in person. Studio is located outside of Philadelphia PA USA. Must be able to use Cinema 4d After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop. Mac is preferable, but PC/Windows users OK.

Please send inquiries/samples of work to "info at betatronstudios dot com"

Thanks

I know you're asking for a freelancer, but if you don't find one you might want to check out:

Maybe they have something to offer. Longtime C4D users (Jeff Johnson, Alec Syme, others)

Mike

I'm not exactly the ideal candidate, this being the extent of my medical modeling/animation experience, http://www.3danvil.com/heartbeat01%20Comp%201_1.mov
and me living in Miami. But you know where to reach me if Mr. Perfect doesn't come along. :)
