When i render a scene with fur or hair, all my fur is black; even when i change color, materials, even with lights converted to fur lights, ive tried many shag version same prob, i ve heard about a max 5 patch, but didnt find it, i m actually on the.16 version of shag...
someone can help me ? :(

there are a few answers I can think of. Do you have the "Black backfacing hair" or whatever that box is checked? Also, make sure you have a good setting (10 is highest) for the memory/quality box. Without it you get very very dark and patchy hair because it gives you horrible quality.
