View Full Version : Character: Lizzy Revised
Spirit2029 12-13-2002, 10:38 AM Well my last post disapeared so ill do another. This is my latest work in progress on my demo/comic main character. Im trying to get more realistic this round, like Final Fantasy level if posible. Anyways ill be continually updating, im just looking for some coments and opinions on is so far. Point out anything major, still tons of points to finish pulling and finalize. Right now im happy with the eyes and the general shape, but any suggestions are appreciated..

I think it's looking great. I don't suppose you're goin for realistic ears though, correct?
The detail in the abdomen and ribcage are is great. The cheekbones may be a little too emphasized and the bottom lip doesnt look as full as your ref pic.
I suppose those eyebrows are just placeholders for now.
Looking good, keep it up
Whoa...she's going to have a really long neck huh? that's my only crit...her neck looks to be a bit long....good work though:thumbsup:

thanx for the comments...
Dirk-nothing is finalized on the head, especially the ear. Im was just trying to get the general shape and position of everything down. The tweaking starts now.
Remi- the neck isn't even there yet...but yah your right the positioning is a little long and I will correct that when everything is connected up
More to come...

The eyes look a little to far apart too...keep it up...updates requested....

i replied to the post b4 it got deleted but i'll say again, the eyes are too far apart and they look a little small, if your going for realism then a good rule of thumb is fot the head to be 5 eyes wide, good work though, keep it up:bounce:

Looking good, i posted before but I don't know if you saw it. I think the features seem maybe too sharp, and also imo a little too big in comparison to the rest of her head. Your ref's face is quite a bit wider, making it seem round rather than tall like your model, if that makes any sense. Anyway, those are just some things that occur to me, might have more later. Looking forward to updates! Cheers :)

The nose and lips aren't very true to the concept, you should make the nose alot smaller and the lips, well... You figure that one out yourself ;)
And it looks a bit like man too... Make a more feminine shape of the whole head and It'll look great!
It looks great allready though but it can look even better! :)
Keep working on it
