View Full Version : Translatning 16.6fps to 25fps

Is tere in After Effects 7, Combustion 4, or any other program, a way to translate film made with camera Sony DSC P72 (MPEG MOVIE VX with 16.6 fps) into 25 or 30fps, without visible choppy effect?

AE7 has Timewarp a new feature called "Pixel Motion". Which is an optical flow analyzer used to create new frames. It depends what you shot though. Lots of detal and stuff moving all over the place and you SOL (results will look really bad). No idea if AE7 has hinting like Twixtor.

Also Combustion has a new Timewarper too. No idea if it includes optical flow.
