View Full Version : Rendering from Cinema 4D to iMovie
Bootyzilla 02-27-2006, 11:32 AM Hi All
Another beginner's question, I'm rendering a movie for a college project in Cinema 4D, I need to do the postwork in iMovie, for burning to DVD to display on a PAL television.
Does anyone know what I do with the render settings to stop the imported C4D clips turning pixellated? I'm using C4D 8.5 on Mac OS X, with iMovie 4.0.1.

I THINK you have to render out of C4D at 720 x 486, but I'm not totally sure. (I know...big hlep...)

I'm also interested in this. I have imovie but never thought it was of much use but maybe I haven't given it a fair go.
Why does iMovie pixellate in the first place. maybe someone can explain this to me.
If I want to create a quicktime movie in television format 16:9 do I have to render my images at a certain size so they won't pixellate in imovie?
For making small web movies from rendered images, what software would you recommend to a mac user.

I think Imovie only display up to 320x240 resolution.
You'll need to get ImovieHD if you want higher resolution animation.
