CGTalk - Random Layers?

Hi Guys I have a blank ps canvas that is 30x40 and I have a whole bunch of digital pictures. I have created an action that opens my digital pictures and copy's/pastes them into my 30x40 file. I want the pasted images to be scattered everywhere, basically to fill up the whole 30x40 canvas. Right now they only paste on top of each other... any ways to make them paste randomly?

There is no way to do this as far as I know. You could set up an action but the time that would take would far exceed the time it would take to do it manually.

If you do it manually, select the move tool and enable the 'auto select layer' checkbox in the tool options. That way, you could grab the layers really fast and move them around. You can also enable the 'show tranform controls' checkbox if you want a quick way of scaling and rotating.

I'm not sure if you could make a script for this? Anyone?
