View Full Version : AK4 Infantry Soldier
Low polygon model thats part of a certain simulation project. It has 2600 polygons, and a texture on 1024x512 (based on digital camera shots, that have been edited and stitched and adjusted later on). Rendered through brazil environment, with generic bump and spec map. Animation rig itself is still work in progress, so no clips to show yet.

It Looks good but the body looks a little out of proportion. Mainly the arms look too long.
looks good , but that render hurts me eyes.

The render hurts my eyes, and his proportions are off. It looks like his torso is too long (but that could be the clothes). His arms seem way too long (they fall to his knees, it looks like) and the legs look far too short.
Wel Ive always had trouble with proportions, so Im not surprised, thanks. Heres a proportions render, which I adjusted a bit (length of the weapon to 1045mm and increased the length of legs), three omni lights and with reduced bump and spec maps.

The legs look at lot better than me (although I advise you wait for someone a bit better than me to agree)
The arms may still be a touch too long, though. Looks good, anyway.
And a really basic rig for animation, but still nice..
