View Full Version : emit on two objects at the same time
coccosoids 02-25-2006, 04:50 PM is it possible to emit over two different objects at the same time?
and somehow retain the U,V values to be used as goals?
/ or if that doesn't work :) ... then is it possible to combine two particle objects? - what i want is to render it as blobby surface, having them as separate objects makes it impossible for the blobs to 'merge' together...

you can emit a single particle object from two different emitters...create two emitters and in the dynamic relationship editor set both emitters for the single particle object...that way you can emit your blobbies from two different surfaces and they will still interact with each other cuz they are the same particle group...

:)
actually, i have thought of that but i couldn't get the particles to stick to the surfaces...
i've tried parentU,V but nothing aided...
if i were to go for this type of setup what do i need to make them follow the objects from which they emit ?
thank
