CGTalk - Help with DB Files

Hi all,

I'm not an SI user but my company is getting some DB files from another company.

Do we have to do something to tell SI 4.0 where these DB files are in order to open the scenes?

Sorry, I know this is complete noob-ness, but I appreciate the help.

You should not have to do anything.
Just opening the scenes in Softimage should give you the option to "link" the database. Once that's done, you should be all set.
