View Full Version : anything for SubD like NURB's hull?
kyphur 12-12-2002, 09:44 PM I was just wondering if there was anything like NURB's hull for SubD stuff. I like being able to see the hull when messing with vertices/points like in NURB's but I want it for SubD. Anyone know how to do this?

right mouse click and select polygon mode...from here you edit the "hulls" using any of the poly tools

That's not what I want, I use that all the time and I need this for a different level of detail.

I dont think that exists for sub d's right now. You could learn mel and make a script, or have someone else do it.

Yeah, same effect as Display -> Subdiv Surface Components -> Edges. Looks like you're in polygon mode but you get the well fast speed of standard mode with components.
