Dear Friends & Colleagues,
My animated short film "Make Someone Happy" is now available for viewing online at: http://www.bentplug.net
Please check it out!
Make Someone Happy is a labor of love that took more than a year to get from concept to completion; not to mention the two years it took to get it from completion to online distribution. It is a story about those wonderful people in the world who can make your day without saying a word. It is my sincere hope that this film brings a smile to your face and in some small way helps to brighten your day.
On Comments & Criticism:
This film is a couple years old and it is just now making it's way online. Technology and artistry have developed so much in the past 2 years that I must admit the piece looks a bit dated. I still think the story is pretty strong and would like for you to judge it on it's merits as a piece of entertainment not as a demonstration of what is possible in Cinema 4D.
Technical Notes:
All modeling, lighting and rendering was done in Cinema 4D XL 8.5.
All character animation was done using Kaydara's Motion Builder 5.5.
Textures were painted with a combination of Photoshop and Bodypaint.
Sincerely,
Donovan Keith
