For some reason the text I create in PS (CS) is scaled amazingly small. I don't mean that I have scaled the text, this is purely what was created when I typed 'identity' on 999pt (that is just stupid!!! - when it was on 36 you couldn't even notice it appear on the screen). This image is 100% of its original res (223 x 82). The dot is 30px. I have no idea how this came to be and no idea how to fix it.

what's the dpi/ppi? If each pixel is an inch wide, then 72 point type would take up 1 pixel.
