HAVE FUN.
We will try to post one of these topics once a day for your enjoyment.

These are the rules:
* Post only your FINAL piece on this thread, based on the topic on the thread.
* RESOLUTION : The image can have any aspect ratio up to 800 x 600
* They can be done on any medium.
* If you wish, you can add a brief text description about your piece.
* Only original compositions. No "tributes" or plagiarizing, unless is it an integral part of the challenge.
* The topics will be posted every day between 10:00 - 12:00 am US EST.
* The artist also has to post total length of time it took (Thanks Clanger for the idea) and program used.
* Only final pieces can be posted on the thread. They must have been done AFTER the topic has been announced.
* Any piece caught breaking the rules will be taken off the thread.
* The topics will be picked at random from the list on this thread
(The author will be given credit). So guys keep them coming.
*You can add multiple entries, but please dont post WIP (Unless you intend to update them). NEW RULE!
* Ill post ANOTHER thread to quantify and track WHO has participated the most on these threads.

Good luck

paperclip Love the tiny green dragon! Maybe it's not properly a tarot, but it's really an amazing situations, love your style, the expressions are great, I'm giggling.

Came home stressed this evening, saw the topic and closed the pc. It was better than sauna, I really had fun and relaxed with my dear pencil. Then coloured in Painter Classic.
Therapy? Oh, yes. (The script was on the back of the paper, with heavy marker, ehm...art!)

I - love - those - threads.

Hey, great colors kevin! I love her expression too.
Ornil: I like your background. Great textures there.
Ka: She looks like she should be holding something in that free hand...

mindofka: I noticed the detail on your painting...flipped and rotated... and there it goes
a misterious sentence beginning with "Why do you..."

I'm soo curious...what does the remaining part says ?

kevinwalker A classic look for a Maria Teresa style emperess, that suites very well, looks like a maitress in way, hehhehe, lov every much the style and choice for the colours.
ernii lovely profile, very noble
xillion Hehehhe, the paper I used was for the raugh version of the work, then I started to like it and made on this the final version. It was a script I inended to put on a portrait, but then chanhged idea, it says:
"Why do you suppose we only feel compelled to chase the ones who run away?"
Here's the work on DA (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/28989122)

paperclip I was alerady thinking of somehing, like holding a chain that comes from the sceptre and finishes on her leg....like she's constrained in her role, something like this.
There's a story behind this hand..it was so big and unproportioned I had to cut it and transform it, I started to make the highlits and saw it, omg that hand is giant!...lol

lucavi: your cards are stunning, each one being better than that before...So...I was wondering...would you do a little tutorial or step by step of your next card ? I'd very much like to be able to simulate your 'soft' style.

Long, time without my muse and ideas. Last day of my holidays, so i tried hard and after long time without any word, nor art of me, here is my contribution.
Still cant paint correct hands and feet, so...

lucavi: Like a real card, great work

kevinwalker: Thats exactly what my imagination brings to me if i think of an empress.
