Hey guys,
I was wanderinng if I can split my screen into two monitors, one would be showing the zoomed in version of what I am working on and the other the zoomed out version. Same photoshop program, same drawing/painting but only in two screens, one would show my working on the drwaing while the other one showing the zoomed out version of the drawing.

Hopefully you guys know what I am talking a bout :)
Cheers.

What platform are you using?

Have you already setup your dual monitor on your computer?

Sorry forgot to mention that no I don't have the dual monitor system available, I have 128mb Ati Radeon 9600, which i bealive doesn't do two monitors, or I just never tried.

What do I need to have to have that working for me with Photoshop.

I am a Mac guy so I can't help you with setting up the dual monitors on your system.

I can tell you though that once you have it setup, open your image in photoshop, select window/arrange/new window. This will create a new window of the same document which you can then reposition onto your other monitor. Each of these windows can have independant zooms applied to them and you can turn individual channels on or off for each window.

If you edit either one, you will see your changes happen in the other window. You can have either one selected when saving. In fact, you can have more than two windows. I'm not sure if there is a limit but I just opened 10 of them as a test.

Ohhhh ,new open in new window :)
That's all I needed to know actually thanks. My bro has a split screen in two monitors, I'll just ask how he set it up, but the same image in more than one window is what I really wanted to know, cool, thanks alot.
