Hello everyone,

this is my first post here,... I just finished VFS, and this is my Demo Reel.

I decided to do a fully CG commercial, in the spirit of the adidas commercials.
I was inspired by the "Mechanical Legs" commercial from DD, just did a soccer version.

As i have told you many times before Chris, this is a really nice reel you got there. It has been really fun to see the development of this piece. I think it it safe to say that even from the very beginning you blew us all away with your talent and speed, this is no exeption from that, it is just mindblowing.
I am really looking forward to spend the next four months learning Houdini with you.

Thanks alot everybody for the feedback.

To make a completely CG piece, was actually the challenge of my reel. Thats why previz was so important for me, in order not to waste time to model or texture something that will later not be seen in that shot.

Now the next step is to add sound effects to my piece, this will really bring it alive.
Music will be for the breakdowns.

Thanks for the comments

cheers,

chris

Thanks everbody for the comments.

christine: I spent a big amount of time modeling and texturing in detail that shoe. I have to thanks brent for his zbrush help on that too. Hope to see you soon.

timewaste: I guess the polishing of the shots in my animatic/previz helped me at the end for the fluent motion.

Right now the soundfx are being made, so there is still a version with sound coming.

cheers,

chris
