View Full Version : Reset all tasks from a single node in backburner, how?

In one of my network jobs a single render node was missing a file and the frames that it rendered now need to be rerendered... But it'd be nice to render those frames without having to reset or resubmit the whole job... Does anyone know of a way to do this? "Reset for Selected Jobs" doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for.

I'm running backburner 3.0, but queue monitor 2.3 as it doesn't crash all the time :/

Bump.

Surely there's a way to do this with backburner's command line capabilities... I searched through the user reference and found a list of functions, but none of which seemed like they would work. I'm not very code savvy, so it could've just been me. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hey of course there is!

If you know what frames they are, delete / move them, and then edit the settings of the job from the backburner monuitor and change 'skip existing frames' and then OK.
This will re-initialise the job (if it doesn't click on 're-start job'), and before frames are rendered Max will check to see if the frame exists.

Hope that helps < :

Ah, good idea! It looks like that's going to be my best option so far... I'm just not looking forward to hand selecting all those frames :(

But, such is life. Thanks for the solution j man!
