View Full Version : move 2d and timeline questions
Antonio79 02-21-2006, 02:50 AM Hello! I just started a shake class and I'm not really expert about it... I learned that you can place a "move 2d" node under a piece of an image and move it, and then if the image is broken into different parts (like I did) you can copy and paste the move 2d node into the other piece and the other piece will follow the first one like if they are moving together. Now, is there a way to make just one move 2d for every pieces I move? the problem is that if I go back and change the animation I have to copy and paste the node again... is there a way to avoid that? I have also another question... I made an animation in the timeline, how can I move a keyframe in shake? and how can I change the animation curve so that I can have control on the aceleration/deceleration of the speed? thank you!! If you want multiple Move2D's that do the same thing as the first one you make, you can link them. Hold shift when you paste to make the new node "linked" to the original. When you change the original, the copy will change in exactly the same way. Linking means that the parameters of the new node are filled with expressions that reference the original node's parameters. You can see the expressions in the Parameters area if you click on the [+] to the left of a parameter name. You can see which nodes are linked in the Node View by pressing control-E.
To learn about moving keyframes, look in Shake Help for the "Curve Editor." The documentation is pretty good for that topic.
