Very good looking piece! The only thing that I find confussing is the ground. Looks like the big-guy is stuck in ice, if so, it would be cool too see some vapor.

Hey hamsterfly, another amazing post you got here. Love how you make use of various colors in your works. That pinky, purpley light just kinda distracts me a bit. But that's just personal taste. I also love how you make use of those lines to add interest to your focal area. Keep it up man. I still think you shoulda gotten placed in the challenge, but heck, I guess the choice award's an awesome reward in itself already. Gotta give others a chance right? :) Keep it up. Looking forward to your work in the upcoming challenge.

DAMN!!!What a beautiful piece!Great colors,great characters...just beautiful!

I have a crit,though.The troops in the back,have different weights:the left side has less contrast than the right side(the left side kinda looks a bit unfinished,because of that).N the ground,where the two front characters are on,has more contrast than the left side but less than the right side.Than almost goes by unnoticed because of the bright purplish highlights but makes it look like ice,like marinobambino said(I too wasn't sure at first look).I think darker shadow would've looked better.

Anyways,I luv your piece(n the you spectacular entry also,LMAO with that one).Congratulations.

Although I see a lot of strongly excecuted battle scene epics...this one takes it beyond its usual appeal for me.

The only thing that I you could improve perhaps, would be to subdue some of the detail you put on some of the figures around the main subjects.

I love this image, even if it has so many errors, I had this piece 4 days on my desktop and just now I realize that there is horse on 1st plane :) I think the beauty of this piece is mostly in great composition and colors god luck!!
