I'm working for an agency doing illustration. I normally use a PC, but they've put me on a Mac (tiger) in the office. I am trying to open a file that is 285 mb for a project I'm working on, but it gives me this error message in painter
"Insufficient space on disk to open new picture"
The hard drive is 150 gigs, partitioned into 3 equal parts, the partition that painter is on has up to 9 gigs of free space. I'd be able to open this file on my PC at home, since I've worked on larger files than this. I think I should be able to work on this file with this computer.
Other specs on the mac. G5 Dual 2Ghz processor and 3.5 gigs of ram.
If anyone has any information on this, I certainly could use the help.
