there's a book that is called "Restoration & Retouching" by Katrin Eisman....that's been the most beneficial book for me by far. But of course whether or not it's usefull to will will depend on if you're doing alot of editing or not. All around though i've learned TONS of new techniques from this book.

I own the 2nd edition, but as you can see, there is a 3rd edition now out.

And although I don't own this "Photoshop CS2 Killer Tips" I can assure you that it's probally a good one to check out. I own the "Maya 6 Killer tips book" and it has an invaluable amount of tips and tricks that've helped me out. This is a book that even the most advanced user will probally find somthing to speed up thier workflow.

Hopefully that'll give you a couple books that'd be usefull.

I enjoyed this from Kurv Studios, it was aimed more at Texturing but very good use of Photoshop techniques that are very seldom discussed.

Check this out:

Its for the advanced user and its right here at CGSociety. If you like it, buy the book which you can find at the end of the tutorial. The book itself contains more tutorials like this.

A book on PS that i received recently is "Adobe Photoshop CS for Photographers" by Martin Evening. You can get it on amazon for $30 US, but i got it at a shop nearby.

I don't actually do digital photography or anything, but this book has been great as he basically goes through every single tool and function in PS CS! So i'm learning heaps of new stuff, such as the healing/patch tool (yes, before i didn't know what it was for) which i now see will come in handy when making seamless textures, like the clone tool.

So i recommend this book, even though it's the only PS book i've got :). It is all pretty technical-based though of course, so who knows how long this book will come in handy as PS CS version update quite frequently. A lot of the stuff in this book however you will pick up as general theory, such as the printing process, colour theory etc...

Good luck.
