How to make a spline line to a specific length?

Nevermind...

It's found at the bottom of the panel: "Keyboard Entry rollout"
When I first saw the "XYZ" I thought it was for location, not for dimensions. But since this rollout is to create points in space, it makes sense to use XYZ ;)

this is a good way but i'm draw a rectangle by the dim. i need and make the line with vertex snaping , is it good way ?

i'm new in max and i hope to know if i'm going in the right way or no :(.
