Yup, after you're done, it recommends you join NAPP or something, so you can truly become a pro. Or something.
I got 10/20. Some confused me, others were about features I never use (eg, RAW). And yeah, some were shortcut keys that are second nature but only when not thinking. :D

Your score means that you're an Intermediate Photoshop User!
You've got some solid Photoshop skills and you can be a real pro with just a little NAPP time.
"..."
That's all I have to say about that.
Actually I have more to say about that. Those guys should be ashamed for being so devious and underhanded. With that test just about anyone would fall into the Intermediate category. The whole point is to convince a bunch of people that they really, really need to be part of this "real pro" organization.
The questions they ask are soooo obscure. I use PS for graphic design work as well as photography work so I make use of a wide range of the tools available and I can tell you I've never wondered, "Gee, how can I flip my horizontal guides so they are vertical?"
Snake oil salesmen. Bah.

The quiz reminds you that Photoshop is an old-school program that is all about memorization. A next-gen replacement for Photoshop would probably have context menus for choices instead of expecting you to memorize what happens when you hold down shift, ctrl, alt, or option while clicking in each function.

Wasn't trying to say you were. I just feel that a quiz like this is intentionally misleading.

Ya, I know!
Not knowing some of those answer is not gonna be any major problem for any daily use of photoshop....but knowing those sometimes helps to save some time  .
(btw: I scored 16/20 in 12min)

lol me thinks there is no real range of expertise in this questionaire... i got 11/20 = Intermediate, 17/20 = Intermdeiate, 10/20 = Intermdeiate
it must be like 1/20 = noob, 20/20 Elite, and everything in between = intermediate :P

Took this just for the heck of it. 10/20. It's as bad as you guys are saying. Quite a sham. I hope not too many people become discouraged by their supposed "inadequacy" with Photoshop on account of this stupid quiz.

this site is there so that u go through some inferiority complex after the quiz and enroll ur name as a NAPP member which might make urself feel like a photoshop-guru (atleast theoretically) :wise: ...
