View Full Version : Sound card for a workstation

well I havn't seen much on the subject as this is a visual biased community. Most of my work is in animation - but I will need some sound editing capabilities in the near future. I'm looking for a good audio card which will give me that while if possible retain some of the main features of a sound card such as - surround etc.

A friend recommended the M AUDIO revolution (5.1 or 7.1). These are priced quite low.

Any thoughts?
