Hey all

What's the difference between "hard" culling and "wire" culling? I read the help file...and I'm not getting it heh.

Wire:
"...Maya culls the back faces during selection but draws the back faces in wireframe."

Hard:
"...draws only the hard edges, and not the back faces ..."

I get the wire culling fine, but the Hard culling is a bit foggy, I don't see a difference in the viewport, that or I'm blind. Any help on this one would be great  you guys are really the only place I have to turn for help :wavey:

Thanks

Soften the normals on an edge and keep hard edges will show all edges except for the softened one. Keep wire will keep all of the edges. You can also see the culled faces with keep wire but you can't select them. You can't see any culled faces with keep hard edges.

Play around in component mode to see a little of the difference.
