It looks like something from the Sans. Im not that much into fonts, but maybe you can find it here?

Well one of the distinctive things about the font is that the numbers are "traditional" - they have ascenders and descenders. The previous poster is also correct that the font is sans serif. It looks really familiar but I cannot place it off the top of my head.

Adobe has a cool virtual typesetting thingie on their site that allows you to enter text and see it displayed in the various typefaces. You can check it out here (http://store.adobe.com/type/main.html#). Click "type classification" under "Browse by:". This will open up a new window that will present you with a bunch of type classifications. Clicking one of the links will change the original window to the typesetting window that will allow you to enter your own text and see it displayed in the various typefaces.

Yes, it sounds confusing, but it will kinda make sense in a weird sorta way when you do it. Hope this helps.

PS - you may also look up "classic" or "traditional" sans serif faces, as I swear that I've seen that font before.

Looks like Tiresias Screenfont or FF Meta (both with a few exceptions):

FF Meta

thanks for the tips guys. I went through all the fonts on adobe website but no luck. still didn't find the exact font and since I'm gonna do some typing with that font and use part of the original footage with the same font I gotta find exact match. so I guess this will exclude any adobe fonts. Any other ideas or websites with similar font browsing interface just like the one on adobe.com??

Thanks for all your help btw.

Since your going to use the footage ask the original designer about the font.

That seems logical.

I think it is FF Meta. These links show a better match than my previous link.

Meta Bold Caps
