Could someone please tell me the correct way to change the brush size quickly ?
I know you can use the slider, but the slider is sometimes hard to grab ( I'm using a Tablet PC ) (Also I know you can use the up /down keys to change the size, but from what I have seen, it requires you to " build " the brush before you can begin painting again. )
I am looking for a way to do this on the fly like Sketchbook has.

I'll read up on creating shortcut keys, but just to save some time, I mind as well ask : Is it possible to create a shortcut key that changes the brushes resat, opacity, ...and other options ?

I tried to create three custom brushes using the same type of brush ( A Sumi-e )
With each new brush, I varied the size of the brush.
I thought that this would be a quick way for me to change my brush size on the fly, since by just selecting another brush, the size of the brush would automatically change with it.

I screwed up somewhere, since the brushes settings don't change.
What did I do wrong and what would you folks suggest I do ?

I'm lovin' this program. The more I work with Painter, the more I wonder how that I have gone this long without it.

Thanks for the help.

Hi vegan,

I dont know if there is (or can be created) shortcuts for resaturation, bleed, etc
but you can change the opacity with the number buttons (1=10%, 2=20%, 3=30%, etc, and 0=100%)

and for the brush size, if you dont like the slide or the shortcuts options, you have a third option: hold ctrl+alt+click and move you cursor, youŽll see a circle that represents the size of the brush. When you get the size you want, just click on the canvas to apply the changes.

well, i hope my answer to be useful.

goodbye!
