First time posting work here, however just finished this animation assignment for my advanced digital animation course, after 5 months of XSI.

First character modelled, rigged and animated so go easy.

As far as the animation is concerned, there are some bits that I realise need changing, I spent too long on the lipsync and the deadline crept up, so some movements are a little harsh.

Download the movie here: (~30meg @ 720x576)

I like the character and the simplistic environment a lot. My only critique is that, in general, it'd be cool if you 'pushed' it a bit more. The audio clip has a lot of energy, and I don't see that coming through in the acting. The motion is servicable but could be much more exaggerated I think.

Nice job so far, I would definitely revisit this piece before putting it on your reel though.
