View Full Version : 3D Head out of text? how can this be done?

HI. I am looking to build a face out of text.
That is, i wish for the words/type to follow the contour of my head model. then for the head model to be deleted leaving the typography alone.
I was thinking of writting the text out in illustrator then import into lightwave and use is as a texture?

I am lost...can this even be done?

model head normally - uv map it - apply textures and use transparency - using multiple layers of text can even have it all moving around in different directions
