Drake83 02-17-2006, 06:43 AM Hi everybody!
Here is my first attempt at 2D animation, a running cat. I'd like to know what you think about? I personnaly think the tail needs to be reworked, and I shall add one or two inbetweens but I look after your advices :)

Heh it's nice to see you are using the animators survival kit, that is a very good place to start. You need more flow though, think of the action in the spine to be like a wave traveling down the body and out through the tail, cats have very fluid movements. Also point the head up more, it looks like he is just looking at the floor right now.
Keep working on it. :D

Yeah the animator's survival kit is my handbook :) As I've no formation in animation right now, I try to find as much ressources as I can. I started with 3D animation last year, but I actually try to animate in 2D cuz I can't bear modeling, skinning and rigging anymore :D
Thanks for the great piece of advice, I'll try to do as best as I can. Stay tuned!
Any other advice?
