View Full Version : shadeing test
Bourbaki 02-16-2006, 09:34 PM Can anyone tell me how you clean the edges in a painting like that that is make them hard and smooth if you use a blending brush you always end up with a smooth edge but its of course very gradient to the background.

In this case it would be necessary to have the green head on a separate layer. Then just use an eraser. Set the opacity to something lower than 100 % because the tool will erase to hard at 100 %. Make some tests at different opacities.
If your not on a layer, I'd recommend a soft brush also not at 100 % opacity and again : do some tests.
