need help to figure how to upgrade my pc - PLEASE :)

here is what i got now

P4 2,8 prescott

1.5 memory (3x512)

ASUS 6800GT (im guess im leaving that)

i mostly worry about the MB, is it any good at all? is it slowing me down?

should i buy new MB and if so wich one? (im noob with that hardware) and if so should i just get new CPU too? and memory?

im basicly need it to work with 3dsmax (hi poly)

What kind of problems are you having now that makes you feel you need to upgrade?

Give some more details about the specs, are you running RAID? 7200RMP hard drives or 10k?

biggest thing I see right now is probably the memory.
