I'm guessing you mean maya animation since your in the maya forum

Beaker, thanks for the response. Well, Maya is the app. that I am somewhat familiar with. Although im not one of those thats stuck on one program, it would allow me to jump into things a little quicker, but its not really required.
But, that is why I posted it in the maya forum.

I'd suggest Vancouver Film School, though they'll teach you XSI, but what's important is that they will also give you the classical animation background.
They will give you about a week of maya classes, wich is way to little. They also have maya fulltime classes, but I wouldn't spend my money on those classes. The fulltime 3d class is the way to go.

Yeah, the vancouver Film School would be great. Im looking for something local because im getting married in 6 months, Thus, the request for something local. And to just up and leave would have a few people wondering what happened to me. :D
Thanks for the tip though.
RISD had a Maya class a few years back...might be worth checking into. I think MassArt only has 3DSMax...

Im actually saving $ to get into their film and animation program. I think they have something I can do part time. We'll see where it takes me!
