Don't know if this has been posted here on CGTalk and i hope i didn't beat Per to the punch but i was browsing his site and found the C.A.R. (Character Animation Rigging) Tags have been released.

Some cool looking stuff these tags look like they can do. One applies wrinkles and other effects. Another seems to be an ultra constraint plugin. Complete with dynamic parenting. Something that i think only XSI has.

I can't wait to try this dynamic parenting thing out. I hope its the same as in XSI.

Gonna try the demo soon.

Hmm seems the constraint tag works similar to Cactus Dan's constraint suite.

Sorry danb but these have been out for quite some time, also Cactus Dan's CD Constraints have a very powerful dynamic parenting tag

Oops. First time I saw it. :) Oh well.

Plus i guess i was impressed by the "dyanmic parenting" words. I didn't realize until a few minutes ago that dan's tools did the same thing.

CAR tags as has been pointed out was released quite a long time ago. It's only about workflow and price as to whether you prefer CD or Constrainer tag afaik (though I don't know how CD handles multiple mixed constraints). It's actually a very old plugin that I made a loong time ago, but never got around to releasing (kai's been using it for ages), though the tension tag part is somewhat more recent.

I saw a Geico insurance commercial that looked like the tension tag was used. The gecko's skine was wrinkling when animating.

It was awesome and is what made me look for the tension tag again.
