ebrowning 02-16-2006, 01:42 PM Here's the Demon, my first, accidently (really!) posted in Finished, but I'll stick it here where it should be.

I really like your style. The colors are vibrant and exciting. The angel looks like it is getting close, but I would really like to see the demon tightened up as well... though I like it as it is.

Wow. This is awesome stuff. The Demon looks fantastic, real powerful and dynamic sketch. I'd love to see it worked up.
The Angel looks amazing. I love the expression on her face. If you were going for a sort of unwilling combatant, you've nailed it beautifully.

demon looks tighter now but theres a lack of feet >.> i'd like to see something done with the feet... the angel looks beautiful and full of emotion that shines through all over her face and pose.... the colors are really vibrant, as others have said... OH! just a suggestion but if your pictures are really bit wxh wise than maybe you should link them cause there are still some people, the poor dears, that are using 800x600 res and your pictures would cripple those machines.. :Di'd love to see more!

800x600? Sigh. You're probably right.
The feet are of course just sketched in- but I'll get to 'em. Just for you, tyrful, I think I'll get to them tomorrow:)
Thanks for keeping me honest!

Thanks for the nice compliments- I'm really proud I've been subscribed to!
Apologies to Tyrful- I did start the demon's feet- but since I spent the bulk of my morning on the angel I didn't have enough time to do much more than muck it up.
On this one I started treating the whole thing as an illustration, I blocked in the backround, began solving the hands and feet a bit more, and started the wings finally. I'll probably add some warmer colors to the background around her feet to ground her in it a bit more. I'm pleased with the overall color, although I know it will evolve a bit.

Here's a little more work on this finally, changed the armor to a cooler hue to offset all the warm tones, began work on the sword, dialed in the hands and feet a bit., hit the wings too.
Skurai- sorry for the slow reply, I use painter.
