View Full Version : Blendshape merde'?
Slugger 12-11-2002, 10:48 AM god day,
today i have a Q about blendshapes, have blendshaped(paralell option) and skinned a head. Jaw bone is influencing the verts around cheek. Now when I try to use the slider "mixer" it seems to get different shapes at different frames, the original shapes are still in scene and not animated in any way, onyone experienced this? how to fix it?

could be a problem with deformation order !?
try to change this that first the blendshape comes and then the skeleton.
also : is your topology of the face always the same ?? look for the "check topology" checkbox in the blendshapes create options.

2 suggestions from the gnomon vids. When creating blendshapes from skinned objects with deformers.....turn the deformers off by changing the envelope value to 0(off). duplicate and tweek as u want....add the blendshape....and when you rmb click the object and open up the inputs window for all inputs....from there you can just mmb drag the different nodes to change thier order. make sure the blendshape are at the very bottom so it is calculated FIRST and the deformers second(above)....it will make everything faster....and then bones should deform the blendshape as well once you have applied the blendshapes change the envelope value of the deformers back to 1(on)
