A re-render of an old model i did for the Captain Pinky aka Captain Scarlet :/ was just bored of the way it looked in every shot i've seen it in..so i decided to try it myself..ofcourse the water isn't that good but that's not the main part of the thing..it's the model, anyways...might render out a turntable at some stage...we'll see..

Bit of squeeze for the Helo pad on the stern (unless the pad lifts out of the ship?). Cool looking ship otherwise.

Well done. Nice modeling and lighting.
One thing that bugs me is the shadow on the water. It looks very solid. That is because you used the surface preset and applied it to a plane. As a fellow lightwave user it seems that way to me. A better approach (but not more efficient) would have been to use a displacement map on a multi-polygon plane. That would create modeled waves, which would blur the shadow and reflections. Try it out.
Appart from that - good job
