Strange, Iīve tried that already, it isnīt working
Is there another way to delete the polygons I have selected, not with the delete key?
Here is the file (http://rapidshare.de/files/13336749/Copy_of_pcharger_powerbase.max.html)

i don't know why you can't to delete these polygons, i think that you can to detach these polygons in the edit polygons stack, and then, you have two objects, delete the entire object that you don't want.
Good luck!:)

Strange. looks like you have a closed stack,... usually you expand it by clicking on the little + butt next to editable poly,.. go to poly then activate and delete.
Have you accidently pushed the space bar to lock everything?
Put a box onto the stage in a new scene, split it and convert that to editable poly then expand stack and try delete,... does that work?

Thx, Kanga! I checked that and I recognized, that poly was activated, so, if I activate vertex or edge, deleting suddenly works! Donīt ask me why, but I am happy now, thanks again for help!

Expand your editable poly with the plus sign and pick poly in the list!
Once again do a test on a simple box in another scene, when you run up against a problem try a simplified version of it in a clean scene.
Its always something simple ha ha that's for sure. It always is:)
