Hi everyone,

just saw there's a new edition of "Digital Rendering and Lighting" announced on amazon for april.
Couldn't get any further information of what's covered in there, especially what's new.
So hopefully I can get some information here ...yes i am a nerd and can't wait until the first reviews come out. :scream:

Thank you!

That's great news!! Hopefully it covers more in depth about lighting in real world production. Tips and tricks of lighting in a cg pipeline, etc. nevertheless this is a great news.

I have nothing to add on that, except that I have just pre-ordered this.

The first edition was one of the best investments I ever made. It has allot to do with why I ended up doing what I do now. I suspect that I'll have outgrown it no matter how much it is updated at this point, but I'll post some kind of a review once I get mine.

Mr. Birn: I know you spend time on these forums.... care to 'illuminate' any of your eager customers?

Thanks,

Another 2 days guys.
I don't know if it's really going to be shipping in 2 days; the book has been completed and should be shipping sometime in the next few weeks, but the date they have on Amazon.com is an estimate they were given months ago by my publisher.

Yes, Lazhar's work is in it and (as you can see by the cover) it plugs our lighting challenges pretty prominantly.
