Any one interested In teaming up to create something great? Hello my name is Robert Brown and I am a 4rth year T.I.M.E major( techincal integrated media and environments) at the Cleveland Institute of Art. My focus is on 3d modeling conceptual illustration. character design, and animation.Im looking to have fun this semester and was wondering if anyone feels like doing the same thing.We can do anything Im up for any ideas just as long as its Impacting and unique.
Skills

Digital modeling and design with both Maya 7.0 and Zbrush 2.0

Texturing with in Maya, Photoshop, and ZBrush 2.0,traditional drawing and Paintings skills, both digital and traditional, and story boarding, character development, and conceptual drawing skills. My Animation knowledge includes both animating with in Maya, and traditional mediums. Animation knowledge includes character rigging and skinning.

Every ones Ideas are relevant and will be heard.I think we could make something strong and orginal!

Little Hellion A short animation

Project proposal A

To create a short 2-3 minute animation surrounding 3 characters and there clashing personalities. using Maya 7.0, Zbrush2, Photoshop CS and Adobe Premiere.

Project proposal B

To model, texture, rig and light all the content for the animation and present a still composition from the animation. This would make the project a W.I.P (work in progress)

Animation summary

The majority of the animation takes place in the “Lost never found” play land. Hellion sits under a tree (a tree filled with stolen objects and trinkets from various fairy tails) He might be accompanied by the Sitter. He will be playing with some recently stolen trinket when he spots Cinderella walking down the path toward him. She will either approach him in a very stern, or a very soft manner wanting to know where her glass slippers are at. She will either get back what Hellion stole or she will fall for his trickery.

Character description

Little Hellion is a half elf mixed of different sources of myth and make believe. He is an adolescent of unknown origin, and his true descendants are shrouded in mystery .This character likes to steal trinkets from various nursery rhymes and fairy tails. H e is a sneaky arrogant sadistic little manipulator. Little hellion likes to spend the majority of his time playing in his garden of stolen trinkets and knick knacks. Often hellion gets visitors from the fairy tails with which he has just pilfered. These visitors aren’t often too happy when they meet are young friend.

does anybody have any experience building a wikki or host page for cumminicating? it can be real basic realy simple html.

basicaly all we need is a page where we can upload images and ideas. We will use this thread for that too , but we could have someting thats more our own and it could have our logo and brand on it.

The story of Demon House:
"Yellow Emperor" Huang Di(about 4000 BC) was the man who conquer many demons,
and was the first sword constructor (don't be angry on me if there is not truth = google).
My idea is about sword which has allowed him to destroy all demons.
In my story first sword was made by demon of fire for Huang Di.
It was time, when many creatures come here, to rule the world.
People could not blast them, as they were immortal.

This is the mood of moment when demon made sword called "Demon House" for the Emperor.
(Next part of the story tomorrow - I apologize for my bad english)

I also had a small concept of my own I was thinking of doing a short surrounding this little guy I call "Hellyin" an angry sarcastic fariytail like character who goes around corupting other farytails spreading his hatred and sadisticly destroying all things " cute"

Hey man do you have a domian or will i just use something like freewebs? il work on a logo now, do you want it to be like a dark logo or bright or what?

i really like your ideas...... i have a couple of spare hours a week - im in if you want me.....Im a modeller / texture artist animator using Zbrush Messiah Maya and Lightwave i also have basic PHP and web development skills. Look forward to hearing from you !!!

Unfortunetly my domain is still under contrsuction and im not sure if ill have free space to host addtional content after i get my reel on there. Um the logo should reflect the concept or if its for our team then it should reflect us. we havent finalised any of this yet so lets wait till we get some concrete decision down first.

Hi guys!

It was a litle problem with my idea, so i dont post erlier.
But new CG challenge "The Journey Bigins" starts and i get answer to my problem.
I could not find the reason, that demon made sword for Yellow Emperor.
So this is the story:
Demons cant easy enter our world.
Some of them must come to Earth to open dimensions gateway.
Most powerfull demons (lords?) starts long journey through the galxy
to find "living" worlds. They sense all kind of life in universe
and fly in that directions. They speed up their bodys (puted?locked?) into the stones
until they find the way to right planet (duration - thousands of years).
Then, they rotate as comets around the star, opens gateway and invite other
demons. The demon after journey is very tired, so hi lands on planet late.
Our fire demon was one of the kings of demons. He was powerful and imperious.
Oher demons was afraid of them since he dominate demons planet.
When he rest a little after long journey and land on Earth, he was trapped by over demons.
Rebellion was posible, because one of the demons entered the body of so evil boy,
that becomes boys servant (leading role to yours character).
Yellow Emperor find the way to free fire demon from his prison and to rule him.

Wooohhh...
This story would be far too difficult to translate it for me...
If u think it's interesting, i try to find someone who know english.
If u dont understand what i'v wrote, apologize for my english :sad: (i'm lernig english
myself since "Spectacular" challenge).

I think that it is an interesting story but its a little complex. I think we need somthing simple. try reaserching classic nursury rymes and childrens books. what if we made our own nursury ryme and put some adult humor in it . that would be a great animation.

Hey guys,

This seems like a lot of fun, is it going to be an animation project or a still image??

I had an idea a while ago, that may or may not work. Perhaps you may want to go with it. I am up to my eyes in it for the next few weeks (until about May) but after that I would love to help.

The idea was to create a collab still image with LOTS going on. I think this could be blended with the idea put forward by decipleofX about the fairytale wrecker.

I remembered these images when I was a kid, and I always loved them because each time I looked at them i found something new and they were great fun. These days I think they are used for Jigsaws as they are generally quite busy and make a good puzzle. Perhaps this is could be an end product of the work.

One of the artists that is famous for this is Jan Van Haasteren (http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Jan+Van+Haasteren&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8), here (http://www.jigsawgallery.com/prodpics/FJ02086.jpg) is an example of the images he makes. I do like comic based characters but I am not that fussed on the style of the people etc. However, that is not important as it's the concept I am trying to get across.

I think if there was a similar image with a different style it would look very cool.

Working on the theme of the fairytale thing, it might be fun to have lots of different characters from fairytales interacting with each other and Hellyin trying to calm down the chaos he is causing by being there.

If an over all image was created then different people could cover specific areas of the image and thus creating a collab image that also has a lot of comedy and fun about it.

I hope that all makes sense, if not then feel free to ask me what the hell I am talking about :) or if you think it's a big pile of soiled underwear then feel free to tell me that too, I can take it :D

I like this idea i think this would allow every one to make there own contribution. but i think we will still need some art direction.
