View Full Version : animator with patience needed
birbidouille 12-10-2002, 11:36 PM Hi, I'm a beginner and I've probably a beginner problem:
I try to animate this bot-foot . But when I move the "foot-dummy" forward, the bone04 flips (red circle). Why ???? and how can I resolve the problem ?
Thanks in advance

Would you happen to have a pic of what exactly is going wrong? I think it could be fixed either by checking the rotation spiner on the dummy object (make sure all axis are at zero before linking the Ik chain to the dummy), or adding an IK swivel point (aka IK solver plane). That's all I suspect.

i don't have a picture but i think that if you create a dummy infront of each knee then select the leg ik chain then go to the motion tab and under the Ik solver properties click the pick target then select the Dummy point in front the knee and i think that, thats how u do it , but i'm not sure if that is the answer to that problem
